PFLAG Pittsburgh Coronavirus Announcement Updated: 06/17/2020
Dear PFLAG Pittsburgh Members and Allies:
At our June meeting, the PFLAG Pittsburgh Board voted to extend our policy of meeting on-line in place of in-person meetings. PFLAG Pittsburgh will be meeting exclusively online, via Zoom, for the foreseeable future. In order to best protect everyone's privacy and confidentiality, we will be utilizing a secure Zoom account created by PFLAG National. In addition, to further protect participants, the meetings will be closed: a password will be needed to connect and participate. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be put on our mailing list for this information.
This decision was a difficult one. The importance of face-to-face support and conversation is tantamount to who we are as an organization. However, out of respect for the health and wellbeing of our members and visitors, we feel it is necessary to continue meeting virtually. We will revisit this decision, and discuss the current advice from the state, CDC and WHO, at each monthly Board meeting.
While the current situation does not allow the in-person help that is so very crucial to successfully supporting our loved ones, PFLAG Pittsburgh is still here for you. In addition to our online meetings, we can support you through phone calls, video chats, whatever format works best for you. Please reach out to us via either of the methods below:
For urgent support, please contact resolve Crisis Services at (888) 796-8226 (answered 24 hours a day) or visit pflag.org/hotlines for an up-to-date list of emergency hotline numbers, available nationwide.

Stay safe and healthy.
