As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, we hope that this email finds you well and safe.  
 

We're keeping you posted about the status of this year's celebration of Pittsburgh Pride. With Governor Wolf's announcement today regarding the reopening of most of southwestern PA, we are working through the process of moving Pittsburgh Pride to the Fall.  We have been in regular communication with our peer Pride festivals across the U.S. as well as our local partners at the city, county, and state regarding our event. Everyone wants to help us celebrate and as one of the largest events in our region, we, along with our sponsors and partners, want to make sure that we proceed with the safety of our community and allies as our priority.  As there are many events that are rescheduling to the Fall as well, we feel it is important for us to be working together with the leaders of other organizations and regional stakeholders.  We will keep you updated as we navigate through this thoughtful and complicated process.
 

We will be publishing a 2020 Pittsburgh Pride magazine. If you are interested in participating, please contact Christine Bryan at cbryan@deltafoundation.us for additional information.

 

We also would like to share with you that we at the Delta Foundation have compiled a comprehensive Pittsburgh LGBTQ Covid-19 Resource Guide which provides a one-stop place to access all the resources available during this difficult time.  Whether it's emergency funding, housing, or how to apply for unemployment benefits, our resource guide provides all that information in one place and at your fingertips.  It can be accessed at www.PittsburghPride.org/covid19. Please share with others or post on your website or social pages as you wish. As this is an ever-changing document, please let us know if there are any additions or changes to make to the guide by contacting us at info@deltafoundation.us
 

In the meantime, as we look forward to the re-opening of our world in the face and aftermath of this pandemic, please continue to follow the guidelines from our own community member, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine.  We are so proud of her leadership and the work she is doing to keep all Pennsylvanians safe.
