PFLAG Pgh is back with a new location and in-person dates!

We are excited to announce we are going back to in-person meetings starting in August! It has been far too long since we last were able to sit together and share our stories. Zoom is good.But in-person is better!! We cannot wait to see your faces again!

A few notes:

Our meeting location has changed! We are now meeting in Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation's new East Liberty offices in the Vintage Senior Services building at 421 N Highland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. The entrance is to the right of the main entrance. This change of locale applies to all PFLAG PGH meetings and gatherings.  
 
Our first support meeting will be held on August 14th at 2:00 pm. There will NOT be a virtual meeting that day. All IN-PERSON support meetings will be held on the second Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm.  

We will still hold VIRTUAL support meetings via Zoom on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. We will no longer use the current email invitation list for the virtual meetings. If you want to attend the meeting, email Dave West at dwest@pflagpgh.org to be added to the new list. 

Our Trans Family Potluck will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm, also in-person. 
 
We request that all people attending the in-person meetings and gatherings wear a mask. We have some immuno-compromised people in the group as well as many concerned about new variants of the virus. 

We will follow the recommendations of the Allegheny County Health Department, Pennsylvania Health Department, and the CDC in determining whether or not to hold an in-person meeting in any given month. If the decision is made to cancel a meeting, we will send out an announcement.
